Ferox XT Tablet is a nutritional supplement used to treat iron deficiency anaemia (decrease in the count of red blood cells). It contains iron and folic acid as active ingredients that helps overcome nutritional deficiencies.

Ferrous ascorbate (iron) is an essential component of haemoglobin and is necessary for effective formation of red blood cells. It also serves as a cofactor of several essential enzymes.

Folic acid is required for synthesis of nucleoprotein, purine nucleotides and the metabolism of some amino acids, normal growth and cell reproduction, and the maintenance of normal RBC formation.

Take Ferox XT Tablet exactly as advised by your physician. It is not recommended for use if you have any metabolic disorders (Ex. hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis), porphyria cutanea tarda (blood disorder that affects the skin), or haemolytic anemia (RBCs are destroyed faster than they can be made).

Ferox XT Tablet should not be used in patients with blood disorders who require frequent blood transfusions. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
