AZIMAX XL 200MG DRY SYRUP contains Azithromycin which belongs to the group of medicines called Macrolides. It is used in children to treat infections caused by bacteria and other micro-organisms which include chest, throat, and nasal infections such as bronchitis, pneumonia, tonsillitis, sore throat and sinusitis.

It is also used to treat ear infections and skin & soft tissue infections (such as an abscess/boil) in affected children which is also indicated for use to treat sexually transmitted diseases (caused by organisms such as Chlamydia trachomatis/ Neisseria gonorrhoea) in the affected child.
